Customer Service Representative will work directly with customers to process orders. Job Responsibilities:
Download EDI/Order Entry: Analyze Validation Report, address any revision changes, price discrepancies, obsolete parts, new parts, orders received with little or no lead-time, etc. Manual entry of Customer Orders (keyboard accuracy is a must) Manage Customer Portals Contact Customers on any orders received within our standard lead-time. Negotiate new due dates, if possible. Work with Master Schedule and Plant Manager on any short lead-time orders. Complies with all safety and environmental regulations, and works to create and promote a safe working environment. Other duties as assigned Job Qualifications (Required)
At least 18 years of age (required at all locations) High School diploma or GED (required at all locations) Job Qualifications (Preferred):
Previous manufacturing experience preferred (all locations) 3 years' experience in Customer Service Physical Requirements of the Job:
Frequent walking, standing, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting and lifting for 8-12 hours per day Able to frequently walk, stand, kneel, squat, bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and lift for 8-12 hours per day Able to work in non-climate-controlled and noisy environment Frequent overhead reaching and reaching with both hands Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting or maneuvering loads up to 50 lbs Able to wear and tolerate Personal Protective Equipment (apparel and devices) Vision acuity, corrected or uncorrected, capable of reading documents, blueprints, gauges, equipment settings, calibration instruments, parts labels and written materials Reliable to come to work every day and be on-time Flexible work availability, including Overtime during the week and weekends
