Job Summary and Qualifications

The Director, Telehealth Development is responsible for advancing the division telehealth strategy by developing best-in-class telehealth programs and service offerings. The Director serves as the centralized coordination leader between Corporate, Divisions and Hospital Leadership to develop and manage consistent and high quality telehealth operations. The Director will lead his/her team to be the primary telehealth development leader and shall be a subject matter expert across their respective Division(s) to ensure telehealth services delivery of in support of division priorities and telehealth strategies.

Telehealth Development Duties (Including the following, but not limited to)

  • Manage and maintain accountability of all assigned Division telehealth programs to include service line development, contracting, education, facility support, issue resolution, program quality, and program inventory.

  • Work in alignment with the Service Line Leaders, IT leaders, hospital leaders, Division quality leaders, and other Division key stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment of program management, ongoing operational support and continuous improvement.

  • Facilitate the optimization of telehealth workflows by spearheading the development of data-driven solutions and reporting mechanisms using PowerBI dashboards, automated reporting systems, and HL7 integrations.

  • Administer and optimize the Salesforce platform to streamline development and operations, enhancing efficiency and communication for the telehealth team.

  • Establish and maintain effective and consistent communications with Corporate, Division and Facility stakeholders.

  • Work in coordination with telehealth vendors to ensure programs are compliant and adhere to service delivery standards in accordance with defined contract terms, scope of work documents, and service level agreements.

  • Partner with Physician and Provider Relations (PPR) to identify, form relationships and implement telehealth programs at outreach sites

  • Drive standardization of telehealth best practices through contracting, intake processes and program development.

  • Create business plans and evaluate innovative telehealth programs for potential pilot opportunities in accordance with approved legal structures, both proactively and when requested from facility / division leadership

  • Develop Division telehealth strategy in partnership with Division VP Business Development, Division VP of Strategy, and Corporate stakeholders.

  • Participate in Internal Audit and Clinical Quality Review assessments at Division and Facility-level.

  • Participate in monthly and quarterly operating reports with Division and corporate leaders as needed

  • Work with provider groups and vendor partners to telehealth services alignment to contractual obligations.

  • Manage telehealth components of new hospital integrations or acquisitions for the Division.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Master's degree preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of management or comparable experience

  • Experience leading large-scale system implementations preferred

  • Telehealth operations experience a plus

  • HCA systems and business processes knowledge a plus

  • Hospital operations or healthcare revenue cycle experience a plus

  • Travel as needed
