Job Summary

The Regional Sales Manager - Distribution (RSM-D) is responsible for driving revenue growth, market expansion, and sales execution across an assigned geographic region. The roll manages key customer relationships, and ensures alignment with corporate strategy, pricing discipline, and margin objectives. The RSM-D operates as both a strategic leader and a hands‑on driver, accountable for regional performance and forecast accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Growth Leadership within distribution Own and deliver regional revenue, margin, and growth targets Develop and execute distribution sales strategies aligned with company objectives Identify and pursue new market opportunities, key accounts, and strategic partnerships Drive growth within existing accounts through cross‑selling and solution‑based selling

Customer & Account Management

Manage and grow key strategic accounts within distribution Partner with customers on long‑term growth plans, pricing strategies, and technical solutions Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline visibility Ensure consistent CRM usage, data integrity, and reporting cadence Analyze sales data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, and Finance Align customer demand with operational capacity and lead times Support new product launches and pricing initiatives

Strategic & Operational Excellence

Enforce pricing discipline and margin improvement initiatives Support annual budgeting, regional planning, and territory optimization Representing the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field 5+ years of progressive distribution sales experience Experience in manufacturing Strong financial acumen with a focus on revenue, margin, and ROI Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills Strategic thinking with strong execution capability Talent development and coaching Customer‑centric mindset Cross‑functional leadership High accountability and ownership mentality
