This is an onsite role 5 days a week at our Global Design Center in Benton Harbor, MI.As an**Industrial Designer**, you will support efforts to understand emerging trends, seek out real-life insights, and create design solutions that will impact experiences for the next generation of home appliances.## **Your responsibilities will include*** Create assets ranging from conceptual sketches, CAD models, physical prototypes, and high-quality renderings/animations to communicate design intent.* Work with a variety of process partners to gain an understanding of marketing strategies, manufacturing requirements, and engineering constraints.* Grow an understanding of our design strategies and philosophies by working with cross-functional design leads.* Work with design specialists in graphic design, CMF, UI/UX, usability, and craftsmanship to create fully immersive experiences.## **Minimum requirements*** Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design* 3+ years of professional Industrial design experience## **Preferred skills and experiences*** Strong project management and planning skills* Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate communication across different disciplines* Strong decision-making abilities and self-motivation* Strong visual communication skills* Ability to adapt design intent through the development process* Intermediate 3D Computer modeling skills
