SAP Finance Leader with 20+ years of experience, driving large SAP Financial transformation programs, leading complex S/4HANA implementations, and advising CFO‑level stakeholders. The role requires deep SAP FICO expertise, strategic leadership, and strong stakeholder management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Lead the SAP Finance (S/4HANA) strategy, overseeing end‑to‑end implementations, upgrades, and support initiatives.
Transformation & Architecture: Design and deliver S/4HANA Finance solutions across GL, AP/AR, Asset Accounting, and Controlling (CO‑PA, Product Costing).
C‑Suite Advisory: Partner with CFOs and finance leaders to align business requirements with SAP capabilities, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS and tax regulations.
Practice Management: Manage SAP FICO teams, including staffing, capability development, and performance oversight.
Project Delivery: Ensure successful delivery of global rollouts and greenfield implementations by managing scope, timelines, budgets, and quality.
Business Development: Support presales, proposals, and client engagements, while identifying and shaping new opportunities.
Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement using SAP Best Practices, Central Finance, and analytics‑driven insights.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience: 20+ years in SAP FICO, including 5+ years in architecture or leadership roles.
Implementation Expertise: Multiple full‑cycle S/4HANA implementations, migrations, and global rollouts.
Functional Mastery: Advanced knowledge of SAP FICO (GL, AP, AR, AA), Controlling (CO‑OM, CO‑PC), and integration with MM, SD, and PP.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of SOX, US GAAP, and local regulatory requirements.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with SAP Fiori, Central Finance, and Embedded Analytics.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership in matrixed environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Accounting, or Business; CA, CPA, or ICWA preferred.
Certifications: SAP S/4HANA Finance certification.
Industry Focus: Experience in sectors such as Pharmaceuticals or Manufacturing.
