Seton Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and motivated
Director of Rehabilitation (DOR)
to lead our therapy department in a skilled nursing setting. This leadership role is ideal for a licensed therapy professional who is passionate about clinical excellence, team development, and delivering high-quality, resident-centered rehabilitation services.
Position Summary The
Director of Rehabilitation (DOR)
is responsible for overseeing Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services. This role ensures regulatory compliance, promotes staff development, and partners with clinical leadership to achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of PT, OT, and SLP departments
Supervise, train, and support therapy staff, including performance management
Ensure compliance with clinical, quality, and regulatory standards
Collaborate with nursing and medical teams to develop individualized treatment plans
Monitor therapy documentation and billing for accuracy and timeliness
Track therapy outcomes, department goals, and performance metrics
Participate in care plan meetings and quality improvement initiatives
Support interdisciplinary communication to enhance resident care
Qualifications
Active Pennsylvania license as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist (required)
Supervisory or management experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred
Skilled nursing facility or long-term care experience
highly preferred
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations and EMR systems
