Organizational Development and Training Intern - Hybrid, Bala Cynwyd, PA Job Summary:

This organization development and training internship opportunity will provide a chance to learn the fundamentals of training and organizational development at Tokio Marine North America Services. Opportunities for learning include survey management, data analysis, generating reports, needs analysis, instructional design, communication planning, as well as support for training delivery and leadership development program off‑sites. This internship opportunity will provide a chance to learn the basics of training and organizational development in a global corporate setting.

Essential Job Functions: Under direct supervision, the intern will:

Develop and manage internal company surveys by creating and managing project plans to ensure on‑time delivery, designing surveys that elicit valuable information, creating communication strategies, using Qualtrics, conducting data analysis in Excel, and summarizing results for executive leadership.

Provide support to the enterprise training team for multiple subsidiaries across North America by consulting with key stakeholders, developing training needs surveys, implementing communication strategies, creating training content, and evaluating training effectiveness.

Support off‑site training and leadership development programs across North America by developing training materials, managing projects, and providing on‑site administrative support.

Provide research, data analytics, and other OD/HR administrative support to SVP by researching HR assessment tools, providing comparative analysis, and providing administrative governance support for academic and professional affiliations.

Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Comply with internal controls and perform administrative activities as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Self‑starter, initiative, advanced Microsoft Office skills, survey design fundamentals, online learning software, social networking content strategy, strong project planning, written and oral communication, corporate communication planning, and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

BA degree required; minimum of one semester in master’s level studies in Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, or a related field; PhD candidate preferred.
