As a Foundation Communications Coordinator, your role goes beyond writing and messaging — you’ll help bring our mission to life through meaningful storytelling and strategic communication. From developing donor communications and campaign messaging to highlighting the impact of philanthropy, you’ll play a key role in connecting our community to the purpose and progress of our Foundation.

In This Role You Will:
Develop compelling donor‑facing communications that highlight the Foundation’s mission, impact, and outcomes.
Write and coordinate key fundraising materials including annual appeals, newsletters, impact reports, campaign messaging, and stewardship letters.
Capture and share resident, employee, and donor stories that demonstrate the meaningful results of philanthropic support.
Partner with Foundation and Corporate Marketing teams to support fundraising strategies through coordinated communications and marketing initiatives.
Assist with campaign planning, messaging development, and implementation across print and digital channels.
Ensure all Foundation communications align with organizational brand standards, voice, and messaging.
Support promotion and communications for Foundation events, including donor gatherings, recognition events, and community fundraisers.
Attend select events to capture photos, videos, and stories for use in donor engagement and marketing materials.
Coordinate development of donor‑facing collateral such as sponsorship packets, campaign materials, event communications, and recognition pieces.
Provide communications support across both Indiana and Ohio Foundations while helping maintain a coordinated communications calendar and donor engagement strategy.
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in communications, marketing, nonprofit development, or a related role.
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Experience supporting fundraising campaigns, donor engagement, or stewardship communications preferred.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, collaborate across teams, and maintain professional discretion and attention to detail.
