Essential Purpose Support the overall success of the clubs in their designated Area in their entirety including the gym's Personal Training, Group Training, financial success, employee experience and member satisfaction.

District Fitness Manager – Role Overview We are searching for a District Fitness Manager who will oversee the Fitness team and support day‑to‑day tasks including people leadership, recruiting, scheduling, payroll budgets, facility maintenance, and most importantly the member and team member experience. The Manager will report to the Regional VP of Fitness and be responsible for sales and financial performance of the fitness department while developing our team to provide an exceptionally positive experience for staff, members, and guests.

Responsibilities

Monitor fitness sales performance at the district level, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Recruit, train, and develop gym managers and staff to maintain a high‑performance team.

Exhibit leadership by prioritizing tasks, coaching for performance, communicating effectively, and conducting business analysis.

Lead and manage a team of Fitness Managers and Personal Trainers across multiple locations, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure consistent sales performance.

Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve operational effectiveness and drive growth.

Ensure all gym locations operate efficiently and effectively, adhering to company policies and standards.

Promote a positive member experience by ensuring high standards of service, cleanliness, and facility maintenance.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies, procedures, and industry standards.

Address and resolve any member complaints or staff concerns promptly and effectively.

Foster a collaborative environment among gym managers and staff to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.

Build relationships within the community to enhance brand visibility and attract new members.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of fitness experience.

Minimum of 3 years of leadership/management experience.

Minimum of 2 years of multi‑unit management experience; the District Fitness Manager may oversee 4‑6 locations depending on the market.

Background in the fitness industry, with a focus on fitness, sales, and management, and a solid understanding of fitness products, services, and member engagement strategies.

Experience delivering exceptional customer service, managing customer relationships, and training staff to improve sales skills and product knowledge.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with employees, management, and vendors in a calm, professional, and empathetic manner.

Excellent relationship‑building and influencing skills with people at all levels and in all functions.

Strong detail orientation, systematic problem‑solving, and good time management, organizational, and record‑keeping skills.

Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

Requirements

Must successfully pass a background check.

CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.

Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle record throughout employment.

Must have reliable transportation to and from multiple job locations.

Ability to work in a gym setting; move about club floors and rooms; communicate with employees, members, and the public.

Ability to access and operate the Company computer system, including preparing documents, entering data, and reading reports.

Ability to bend, lift, and repeat tasks involving more than 40 lbs.

Additional Earnings

Base salary plus eligible bonus opportunities.

Post‑training salary increase.

Salary $70,000‑$90,000 USD
