Job Title: Social Director Position Overview We are seeking a highly strategic, trend-savvy, and hands-on Social Director to lead and elevate the social media presence. This role will partner closely with the founder, supporting her fast-paced, highly creative, and unscripted content style while bringing structure, strategy, and scalability across all platforms.

The ideal candidate is deeply immersed in social trends—especially TikTok—and can both keep up with the founder's creative energy and introduce a more strategic, data-driven approach to content and growth.

Key Responsibilities Social Strategy & Leadership

Develop and execute a cohesive, cross-platform social media strategy aligned with brand goals

Bring structure and long-term planning to a highly organic, fast-moving content environment

Identify growth opportunities, audience expansion strategies, and platform optimization

TikTok & Trend Leadership (Core Focus)

Own TikTok strategy, content direction, and performance optimization

Stay ahead of trends, sounds, formats, and algorithm shifts

Translate trends into brand-relevant, high-performing content ideas

Content Direction & Creative Partnership

Partner closely with the founder to shape, refine, and amplify her organic content

Provide real-time input on content direction while preserving her authentic, unscripted voice

Bring new, innovative ideas to the table that enhance engagement and monetization

Execution & Agility

Operate in a highly reactive, real-time content environment with quick turnaround

Be available for ongoing communication (including off-hours as needed) to support rapid content opportunities

Assist in organizing, posting, and optimizing content captured directly by the founder

Analytics & Optimization

Track performance across platforms and translate insights into actionable strategies

Identify what’s working and scale successful content formats

Implement testing strategies to continuously improve engagement and conversion

Cross-Platform Growth

Oversee and align strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms

Ensure consistency in messaging while tailoring content to each platform’s strengths

Trend Forecasting & Innovation

Proactively monitor social trends, cultural moments, and competitor activity

Introduce new formats, content series, and platform opportunities

Stay ahead of the curve in social commerce and influencer-driven sales

Qualifications

6–10+ years of experience in social media, digital content, or brand strategy

Deep expertise in TikTok (required) with proven success growing and monetizing accounts

Strong understanding of social-first content, especially unscripted and personality-driven formats

Experience working with founders, talent, or high-profile personalities is highly preferred

Ability to balance creativity with structure and strategic thinking

Strong analytical skills with experience using social metrics to drive decisions

Salary $150,000-$170,000
