
Customer Service Representative

Sales Order Management process, customer satisfaction and support, account reconciliation, and supporting the revenue stream
Working in a customer service team of six people, interfacing with plants/shipping locations, Logistics, Credit, Accounts Receivable, Regulatory, and other departments.
Required Skills:
Order Management:
Manage a group of customers across one or more markets, handling all order-related activities. Understand products and markets to provide proactive solutions. Process ~2,000+ orders annually, acknowledging them within 24 hours. Execute full quote-to-cash tasks (order entry, customer setup, automated communications). Maintain accurate customer data, monitor delivery timelines, manage inventory, backorders, and transportation decisions. Use tools and reports to track order status and raise issues when needed.
10–20% Resolving Issues:
Handle customer issues and complaints, ensuring timely resolution without harming relationships. Log and manage complaints, assign investigations, resolve discrepancies, and process credits within authority. Identify gaps and suggest improvements.
5% Training:
Complete required training on products, processes, and systems. Apply learnings and maintain ISO training records.
10% Additional Activities:
Support process improvements and ISO updates. Assist with related tasks such as sales support, logistics, forecasting, and reporting. Participate in supply chain and S&OP meetings and communicate impacts to the team.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree with Emphasis in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain or equivalent relevant customer service experience.
One to three years of experience with Bachelor's degree, or four or more years of relevant customer service experience without Bachelor's degree
Proficient in Microsoft applications: Word, Excel and Power Point.
Strong problem solving and communication skills.
Customer Order processing in an enterprise system, SAP is strongly preferred.
