The annual salary for this position ranges from $75,000 - $95,000 and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting annual salary within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skill set. Summary

The Sales & Business Development Analyst supports Signode’s commercial team by delivering data‑driven insights that improve sales performance; identifying strategic business opportunities and developing qualified leads. This role sits at the intersection of sales, marketing and operations, combining analytical skills with business development activities to help drive revenue growth and strengthen customer engagement. Essential Functions

Sales Analytics & Reporting

Use data analytics to identify patterns, opportunities, and risks affecting sales performance and productivity. Work closely with regional sales leaders to analyze data and support new business initiatives. Collaborate with Commercial Operations and Supply Chain to build and track key business metrics that enhance commercial processes. Develop and deliver routine and ad‑hoc reporting to support the commercial organization. Business Development & Lead Generation

Partner with Marketing and Product Management to identify and target key market segments and strategic customer accounts. Develop, qualify, and manage new customer leads using established methodologies and CRM tools. Support customer profiling efforts and continuous improvement of qualification criteria. Own CRM development, user engagement and training. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Signode products, solutions, and value propositions. Market, Customer, and Competitive Intelligence

Research industries, competitors, and market trends to identify new opportunities and provide insights into product/service positioning. Provide customer intelligence, including buying behaviors, deviations, and emerging trends, to support sales and customer service teams. Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Maintain strong communication and coordination with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, IT, Finance, Marketing, and Product Development. Communicate business process updates, pricing changes, and commercial insights to internal stakeholders. Provide support to sales leadership for data requests, presentations, and project work. Assist sales teams with system usage, reporting tools, and basic training as needed. Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field. Experience

4+ years of combined experience in business development, sales analytics, customer analytics, or related commercial roles. 2+ years of experience in data analytics preferred. Advanced working experience of PowerBI. Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Advanced CRM skills, Microsoft D365 preferred. SQL skills and experience working with relational databases. Ability to create and deliver clear internal presentations. Functional Success Drivers
