The HVAC Service Sales will sell HVAC services using technical, organizational and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the services to their needs, resulting in revenue generation by building, maintaining, and improving relationships with clients.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and how those needs could be met
Answer customers’ questions about services, prices, availability, or terms
Prepare service contracts for orders obtained, quote prices, credit terms, or other bid specifications using Salesforce and submit for processing
Emphasize service features based on analyses of customers’ needs and on technical knowledge of service capabilities and limitations
Negotiate prices or terms of service agreements
Maintain customer records
Visit establishments to evaluate needs or to promote service sales
Develop and deliver sales presentations and close sales
Participate in sales forecasting and planning meetings
Timely manage assigned sales budgets
Work with General Manager to resolve customer issues
Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers using established guidelines
Partner with business development group to identify prospective customers
Collaborate with colleges to exchange information, such as selling strategies or marketing information
Required Education/Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing or High School/Trade School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) and work experience of 3-5 years in a service/sales position.

Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position is largely sedentary; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand, as necessary.
Work Environment This job operates in both an office and a field environment. Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
