Role Description This is a full-time on-site role based in Southfield, MI, for a Multimedia Specialist. The role involves creating dynamic multimedia content including video production, graphic design, and photography to support the university's communication and marketing strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing engaging videos, designing graphics for digital and print media, capturing impactful photographs, and collaborating with various departments to align multimedia projects with organizational goals.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Multimedia and Video Production, including filming, editing, and storytelling techniques.
Expertise in Graphics and Graphic Design, with experience in creating visually effective materials for both digital and print platforms.
Knowledge of Photography, including image composition, lighting, and photo editing.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in multimedia editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Design, Communication, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred.
Experience in academia or familiarity with higher education environments is a plus.
