Salesforce Technical Lead / Developer

Client is seeking a Salesforce Technical Lead / Developer with extensive hands-on experience in Salesforce development, particularly in Lightning Web Components (LWC) and OmniStudio. The role involves leading development efforts, designing scalable solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality Salesforce implementations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and experience working with stakeholders in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Salesforce development and implementation activities across projects.

Design, develop, and implement solutions using LWC, Apex, OmniStudio, Visualforce, and Lightning frameworks.

Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to ensure effective knowledge transfer and project execution.

Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, and other web service protocols.

Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, including governor limits and coding standards.

Perform unit testing, create test classes, and ensure quality through positive and negative test scenarios.

Manage deployments using tools such as Change Sets, Eclipse, or ANT and resolve deployment issues.

Configure and customize Salesforce including workflows, validation rules, approval processes, reports, and dashboards.

Support troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous improvement of Salesforce applications.

Required Qualifications

9+ years of overall IT experience with 9+ years in Salesforce development, implementation, administration, and configuration.

Strong hands‑on experience in LWC, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and OmniStudio.

Experience working on multiple projects involving OmniStudio or significant hands‑on experience in OmniStudio.

Proficiency in Salesforce integrations, including REST, SOAP, WSDL, and API‑based architectures.

Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits, coding best practices, and system limitations.

Experience with Salesforce data tools such as Data Loader or ETL tools.

Knowledge of database concepts including SQL, PL/SQL, schemas, and stored procedures.

Experience with deployment tools and processes in Salesforce environments.

Understanding of Salesforce administration activities including user setup, roles, profiles, and security configuration.

Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Java or .NET technologies.

Experience in healthcare payer domain.

Experience with Bulk API, Metadata API, and advanced integration patterns.

Certifications

Required: Salesforce Platform Developer I and App Builder certifications.

Preferred: Salesforce Platform Developer II (or equivalent advanced developer certification).

Good to have: Advanced Administrator or Sales/Service Cloud Consultant certifications.
