Customer Order Management Specialist
in Research Triangle Park, NC 27709 (Hybrid). The role will manage customer service through the order fulfillment process.
Location:
2 T.W. Alexander Drive, Research Triangle Park, NC 27709
Hybrid:
3 onsite days; 2 remote days per week
Timings:
8 AM to 5 PM; 1 Hour Lunch

Qualifications
Education: Certificate or diploma in Business Administration or Marketing.
Experience: At least 2 years in a business or customer service-related position with Order to Cash process.
SAP experience required (S/4 Hana preferred).
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs).
Proficiency in Microsoft programs.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Effective problem‑solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Ability to set priorities and make decisions in a dynamic environment.
Strong teamwork.
Responsibilities
Ensure internal and external customers have a positive experience, meeting or exceeding expectations while adhering to core business metrics.
Receive, process, and follow up on customer orders in SAP and provide responses to external and internal inquiries.
Verify order parameters (availability, specifications, pricing, delivery options, etc.) and initiate actions to resolve discrepancies.
Prepare reports and maintain key business tracking information during the season.
Process non‑conformance in SAP; track complaints and identify opportunities for corrective and preventive actions.
Nature and Scope This position interacts with multiple disciplines internally – planning, sales, marketing, logistics – and manages multiple systems and customer organizations. It receives general business guidance from a supervisor and provides input into operational strategies. Key relationships include Planning, Sales, and Logistics teams to coordinate product availability, sales targets, and order processing.
