Mortgage Loan Processor / Closer
We're looking for a detail-oriented, client-focused Mortgage Loan Processor / Closer to support borrowers, loan officers, and underwriters throughout the mortgage lifecycle. This role plays a critical part in ensuring loans move efficiently from application to closing while meeting regulatory, investor, and internal compliance standards. You'll thrive in this role if you're organized, analytical, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Collect, review, and input borrower and loan data accurately into the loan origination system. Prepare and deliver borrower disclosures in compliance with applicable regulations including TRID, RESPA, TILA, ECOA, and other federal, state, and investor guidelines. Identify, resolve, and document loan conditions, exceptions, and discrepancies in a timely manner. Request, track, and verify required documentation from borrowers, third parties, and internal teams. Prepare, review, and finalize closing documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance. Coordinate closing timelines and schedules with borrowers, real estate professionals, title companies, attorneys, and other third-party partners. Review title commitments, payoffs, tax prorations, and disbursement details to ensure clear title and proper settlement. Maintain working knowledge of loan origination systems, document management platforms, and automated underwriting systems. Demonstrate strong time management, attention to detail, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment. Perform additional duties as assigned to support department and organizational goals. Education High school diploma or equivalent required Experience & Skills Prior mortgage processing or closing preferred Proficiency with digital systems, document management tools, and standard office software. Excellent communication, problem solving, and critical-thinking skills. Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
