Mon-Fri 9:30am – 6:30pm

Hybrid:

First six months from office; after six month and successful completion of evaluation three days from office and two days from home.

Job Overview The Account Development Representative provides support to existing customers to ensure that Hytec's overall commitment to quality and reliable service is being maintained. The ADR functions as the chief source of new sales within their territory and additional business from our current customers within their territory. The ADR will work to ensure that current customers are made aware of new service and product offerings, as well as ensuring that these customers remain aware of the benefits of all the various current services offered by Hytec. The ADR will seek to increase business from our current customers while assisting in the security of current business levels through regular sales contact to these customers. The ADR will be responsible for growth of overall sales within their assigned territory.

Duties

Works to provide answers to daily questions from customers.

To notify customers of any changes to an existing order.

Make routine calls and promotional mailings to customers to build the business partnership between Hytec and customer.

Contact all accounts on a regular basis to solicit the customer to utilize all required services offered by Hytec, including repair services, board exchanges, board bank, direct sale purchases such as hard drives and power protection

Contact Purchasing Manager, Service Manager and VP of Service at Major Accounts within the territory to build a rapport with each contact.

Determine qualified prospects within territory and complete the sales cycle from beginning to end with each prospect, including mailings, calls, visits, proposals, presentations, etc.

Establish and maintain account set up in IFS, reports and email notifications to meet customer requirements.

Remain advised of competition activity and industry events

Represent Hytec in face-to-face sales and prospecting trips, and at various industry trade shows.

Work along with other sales personnel on training and improvement of sales and presentation skills, including closing techniques and general sales responsibilities.

To provide support to Order Fulfillment Coordinator and OEM Customer Service Administrator as needed.

Travel Requirements / Special Duties The travel requirements will be based on territory sales needs, as determined by the AR/CR and Business Development Manager. The AR/CR may be required to travel on at least twelve customer visits per year and may be required to attend industry trade shows.

Qualifications

Previous customer service experience or current Hytec employee required

Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or inside sales with a focus on technology or product solutions, preferred

Strong knowledge of CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage territory effectively through strategic planning and analysis skills.

Experience with lead generation techniques including cold calling and networking.

Familiarity with account management, upselling strategies, and product demos.

Demonstrated success in business development, customer service, and sales management roles.

Self-motivated with a proactive approach to building relationships and closing deals.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
