
Service Sales Manager - Engine

JOB SUMMARY
The Service Sales Manager Engines will be responsible for sales of Aftermarket Engine events (overhaul and hot sections), repairs, upgrade packages and performance enhancements to various Textron Aviation aircraft models. Collaborate cross functionally with sales teams in service, aircraft, programs, and Special Missions. Assist teams in project coordination in regard to Aftermarket sales items.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute on purpose sales plans and procedures to promote the sales of Aftermarket Engine events, repairs, upgrade packages and performance enhancements to various aircraft models.
Serves as the contact and focal point for customers for all Aftermarket Engine sales related opportunities.
Provide Sales leadership in the advancement of sales opportunities by being the subject matter expert.
Researches and identifies potential sales opportunities using available reports and tools. Actively seeks and identifies cross-sell and up-sell aftermarket opportunities. Aggressively pursues sales leads provided by Textron Aviation employees and satisfied customers.
Continued focus on high valued modifications, enhancements, and engines through educating the sales team on market need and perfect customer profiles.
Uses a variety of marketing techniques to generate and secure sales for the Aftermarket: hosting visits, telemarketing, organizing/participating customer engagement events, and written correspondence to name a few. Utilizes and maintains a customer data base.
Provide product data in a user-friendly manner to the sales team as a sales resource.
Vendor evaluation and product reviews – continuously researches for the newest technologies to apply to the fleet.
Collaborate with sales team providing a portfolio of solutions for the customer’s needs/wants.
Examination to ensure correlation of engine and modification exists and is being executed.
Collaborate with Business Operations on processes to ensure we are meeting the customer expectation.
Collaborate with Pro-Advantage programs group to identify additional program packages and opportunities.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in business, aviation management or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years sales and/or marketing experience required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Work in an autonomous self-directed environment to achieve the marketing strategies and sales goals set forth by the company.
Strong communication skills to achieve relationships with customers, vendors and brokers.
Salesforce and the Microsoft suite experience.
Candidate must be able to work in an autonomous self-directed environment to achieve the marketing strategies and sales control systems set forth by the company.
Candidate must possess strong communication skills to achieve relationships with local Directors of Maintenance and brokers.
Travel required: 25-50%
