The Opportunity
Hoyt Architects is seeking a talented and motivated
Interior Designer / Space Planner
to join our collaborative, design-driven studio. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of project types - including office, hospitality, multifamily residential and entertainment - alongside a multidisciplinary team of architects and designers. This is a full-time, in-person role in our Sarasota, Florida studio.

Our portfolio includes landmark civic projects, high-end residential towers, community-serving nonprofit facilities, and hospitality destinations. Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with project teams from concept through construction.
Develop interior design concepts, palettes, and material selections.
Prepare design presentations, finish schedules, and FF&E documentation.
Produce interior drawings and details in coordination with architectural sets.
Participate in client meetings and design reviews.
Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and fabricators as needed.
Support construction administration and respond to RFIs and submittals.
Qualifications & Skills
Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
5+ years of professional experience.
Proficiency in Revit (required).
ASID Membership (strongly preferred).
Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and detailing.
Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Portfolio demonstrating strong design sensibility and technical skill.
