JOB SUMMARY:
The Activities Director will plan and coordinate meaningful activities to enrich the lives and environment of our residents. This is a fun and rewarding job that helps maintain and foster a positive atmosphere. Sapphire will provide the training and guidance to make sure you are confident in this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the direct oversight of the indoor and outdoor activities
- Plan and carry out a creative and enjoyable life enrichment program in accordance with resident interests
- Coordinate monthly activity calendar making it available to all residents, families and friends
- Conduct one on one activities with residents
- Collaborate with outside community organizations or volunteers
- Oversee the life enrichment budget
- The Activity Director will document all participation from residents
- Assists in timely decorating for holidays or special events
- Other duties as assigned
