What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  • Own national K‑12 revenue performance, focusing on new customer acquisition, expansion, and retention
  • Define and execute the K‑12 sales strategy by assessing the customer base and identifying growth opportunities
  • Establish clear expectations and accountability through accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of over 30 sales professionals throughout the sales cycle
  • Act as an executive‑level customer sponsor, articulating the employer's K‑12 value proposition effectively

What is Required (Qualifications):

  • 10+ years of software sales experience, with at least 5 years leading high‑performing sales teams; SaaS experience is strongly preferred
  • Proven experience selling complex software solutions in the K‑12 education market, understanding school and district buying processes
  • Experience with Student Information Systems (SIS) or related K‑12 education platforms is highly desired
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, including ROI modeling and data‑driven selling approaches
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with experience using Salesforce and conversation intelligence tools

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Prior experience working with K‑12 schools, districts, education networks, or education‑focused nonprofits
  • Demonstrated success in scaling high‑velocity sales organizations with an emphasis on coaching and skill development
