We are seeking a Fashion Designer specializing in Apparel Product Testing & Development to join a growing apparel brand. This role is ideal for a designer who combines creative design capabilities with strong product development and testing experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing apparel products for TikTok Shop and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) platforms , ensuring products meet high standards for fit, comfort, quality, and customer expectations. This position involves hands-on work across the full product lifecycle—from concept and design through wear testing, supplier coordination, and product refinement. Key Responsibilities Design and develop new apparel products aligned with brand direction and market trends. Manage the full apparel development lifecycle , including concept development, sampling, testing, and production readiness. Conduct wear trials and fit evaluations to assess garment performance, comfort, and sizing accuracy. Organize and manage U.S.-based focus groups to gather structured feedback on design, fit, and quality. Coordinate sample development and communication with suppliers and manufacturers . Analyze testing results and customer feedback to drive product improvements and refinements . Support category-specific testing , including evaluating preferences across different demographics and body types. Ensure apparel designs meet fabric performance, fit, and durability expectations required for e-commerce customers. Collaborate with internal teams to align product development with TikTok Shop and DTC merchandising strategies . Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field. 2–3 years of experience in apparel design and product development. Experience working through the full apparel product development cycle . Familiarity with e-commerce fashion businesses , ideally including TikTok Shop or DTC brands. Strong understanding of fabric behavior, garment construction, and fit performance . Experience conducting or participating in wear testing and product evaluations . Ability to translate feedback and testing results into actionable product improvements . Strong communication and coordination skills when working with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams . Candidates will be hired as contractor for a period of 6 months. Based on performance, the candidate will be switched to direct hire. #J-18808-Ljbffr
