EA Talent Solutions has been engaged by a Nassau County–based client seeking a hands‑on Director of Information Technology to lead and support a mixed Linux/Windows environment spanning core infrastructure, ERP‑connected systems, warehouse operations, and other mission‑critical applications.

Responsibilities

  • Support multi‑segment networks, office/warehouse WiFi, surveillance subnets, and redundant internet connections.
  • Manage Linux and Windows servers, ERP environments, Magento web servers, file/print/RDP services, and VPN/remote access.
  • Support WMS (Blue Yonder), MS SQL databases, and related warehouse applications.
  • Maintain virtualization (KVM/QEMU), Dell rack servers, and Linux host systems.
  • Oversee backups, continuity processes, and off‑site replication.
  • Support NVR/surveillance systems (~150 cameras).
  • Maintain current Intertel phone system and assist transition to FreePBX/Asterisk.
  • Support ERP‑connected tools: EDI, routing/scanning servers, shipping systems, label printers, GPS units, and M365 applications.
  • Assist with future system implementations (CRM, integrations, infrastructure upgrades).

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in Linux/Windows infrastructure
  • Strong networking, firewall, and VPN skills
  • Linux and Windows Server administration experience
  • Knowledge of ERP‑connected systems and databases
  • Backup/DR and continuity experience
  • Familiarity with WMS, surveillance, and VoIP systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
