What You'll Do

  • Use CAT software and digital audio tools to scope, proofread, and finalize transcripts with a high degree of accuracy and compliance.
  • Proactively build and maintain a professional network within Texas-based court reporting organizations, industry chapters, and regional communities.
  • Identify and attend key industry conferences and summits to engage top-tier talent, surface market insights, and grow brand visibility in Texas.
  • Drive strategic staffing by developing coverage models, overseeing CR recruitment, and ensuring all proceedings are resourced appropriately.
  • Partner with leadership to design and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, consistency, and reporting quality across the team.

What you Bring

  • Current Texas Certified Shorthand Reporter (CSR) license required.
  • Deep knowledge of Texas procedural rules, legal terminology, and transcript formatting standards.
  • Significant court reporting experience with a track record of supervisory or leadership responsibility.
  • Proficiency with CAT software (e.g., Case CATalyst, Eclipse) and digital audio review tools.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities across live proceedings, remote work, and operational oversight — including travel to in-person depositions across Texas
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with a collaborative, team-first mindset.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest professional and ethical standards in every aspect of the role.

Why This Role?

  • Work with a licensed Texas court reporting firm (CRF-13361)
  • Leadership position with direct impact on quality and operational excellence.
  • Blend of stenographic, scopist, and management responsibilities.
  • Remote-friendly with flexible scheduling.
  • Opportunity to help shape a modern, technology-driven deposition and court reporting experience.
  • Join a detail-driven, collaborative, and fast-moving team.
