As we launch a new residential community, we are adding a Sales Agent to represent the development, follow a structured sales process, and guide buyers from first meeting through closing.

About the Role

This role is centered around Shurtz Canyon, a new 126-home active adult community in Cedar City with a defined product, amenities, and buyer profile.

You will be responsible for representing the community on‑site, executing a structured sales process, and converting qualified prospects into signed purchase agreements.

This is not a transactional role. You will remain engaged with the buyer after contract, maintaining communication, managing expectations, and seeing the process through to closing.

This is a hands‑on, relationship‑driven role. It is ideal for someone who is steady, professional, and confident, with strong ownership of both the sales process and the client experience.

What You'll Do

Daily responsibilities include:

Represent the community on‑site with professionalism and consistency

Manage incoming buyer traffic generated through company marketing efforts

Initiate conversations, qualify prospects, and move opportunities forward

Follow a defined, step‑by‑step sales process from first meeting to contract

Convert qualified prospects into signed purchase agreements

Provide clear guidance so buyers can make informed decisions

Maintain consistent communication with buyers throughout the construction process

Manage expectations and address questions during the build

Execute timely and persistent follow‑up with all prospects

Develop and maintain relationships with local realtors and buyer's agents as an additional source of qualified opportunities

Maintain a consistent and reliable on‑site presence during scheduled hours

Coordinate with internal team members to ensure a clean transition into construction

Ensure all contracts, selections, and expectations are clearly documented

Plan and host community events to attract and nurture prospects

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

Active Utah Real Estate License

Willingness to transfer brokerage affiliation to Choice Builders’ brokerage

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Professional presence and ability to build trust quickly

Ability to operate independently on‑site with strong accountability and follow‑through

Organized and consistent with follow‑up and process execution

Consistent and disciplined use of CRM for all client activity and follow‑up

Preferred

Experience in new home sales or residential real estate

Experience working with active adult buyers

Familiarity with structured, process‑driven sales environments

Basic understanding of construction or homebuilding

Proven ability to build trust, guide client decisions, and close effectively

This is a fully on‑site role in Cedar City. Daily presence at the community is required to effectively manage buyer traffic and represent the development.

Candidates who are committed to the area and comfortable working in a structured, on‑site sales environment tend to perform best and stay long‑term.

Compensation

Commission‑based role structured to reward performance

Limited transition support may be provided during onboarding to assist with initial pipeline development. This support is time‑bound and will conclude based on duration and/or production thresholds

Schedule

Full‑time, on‑site

Evenings and weekends are required based on client demand and scheduled coverage
