Heritage Builders Luxury Custom Homes | Sarasota, FL Heritage Builders is one of the few high-end custom home builders in Florida with a fully integrated in-house architectural team. We design and build distinctive, luxury residences for a discerning clientele—and architecture sits at the heart of everything we do. We are seeking a Lead Architect with 5–10 years of professional experience who is ready to step into a higher-level leadership role and help drive the creative vision of a premier custom builder in a competitive luxury market. This role is ideal for an accomplished architect who thrives on client interaction, design excellence, mentorship, and collaboration—someone who wants meaningful influence over the final product, not just drawings on a page.
Key Responsibilities Lead the architectural design process for high-end custom homes, from concept through construction documentation Meet directly with clients, management, and the interior design team to develop refined, highly customized home designs Produce all phases of architectural drawings in Revit, including schematic design, design development, and construction documents Create AI-driven exterior and interior renderings to support design storytelling and client decision-making Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, deadlines, and consistency with the firm’s design standards Collaborate closely with construction and estimating teams to ensure designs are cost-effective, buildable, and aligned with practical constraints Attend client events, presentations, and industry functions to discuss design philosophy, creative process, and brand vision Help guide and elevate the overall architectural aesthetic of Heritage Builders in a luxury marketplace Qualifications & Experience Active architectural license required 5–10 years of professional experience as an architect, preferably in custom residential or luxury home design Advanced proficiency in Revit is an absolute must (candidates without strong Revit experience will not be considered) Experience designing high-end custom homes or architecturally detailed residential projects Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with clients, designers, and builders Comfortable balancing creativity with budget, schedule, and construction realities Experience creating or directing xsgimln high-quality renderings (AI-driven workflows a strong plus) Licensed architect preferred (or actively working toward licensure) Why Heritage Builders?
