Collections Specialist

RideShare Carz is a fast-growing provider of reliable vehicle rental solutions designed for rideshare and delivery drivers. We are currently seeking a Collections Specialist to join our on-site team located in Garland, TX. As RideShare Carz continues to expand, the Collections Specialist will play a critical role in supporting both our finance and operations departments. The responsibilities include managing billing accuracy, ensuring timely payments from customers, and reconciling accounts to support our growth and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Work Schedule and Location This is a full-time position with a Monday through Saturday schedule with working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. A one-hour lunch break is provided from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The role is based in Garland, TX 75043, and reliable transportation to the work site is required. Please note that relocation assistance is not offered for this position.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and process invoices for vehicle rentals, mileage, tolls, and other applicable fees.
Monitor and reconcile customer payments using internal systems and third-party platforms.
Review and resolve billing discrepancies in a professional and efficient manner.
Communicate proactively with customers regarding overdue accounts and payment reminders.
Maintain comprehensive and organized records of accounts, related documentation, and payment reports.
Collaborate with operations, sales, and customer service teams to ensure accurate billing and swift issue resolution.
Prepare regular revenue generated summaries and status reports for management review.
Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills (ability to speak Spanish is a plus).
Minimum of two years’ experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related role.
Demonstrated strength in analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with at least two years of experience required; experience with Stripe or similar billing systems is preferred, with a minimum of one year.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly rate ranging from $22.00 to $24.00, based on relevant experience.
