Italy Labour Relations & Law Advisor
to join its office in Genova (Italy) within the
Global Human Resources
Division.
Mission The Labour Relations & Law Advisor provides expert legal support on HR‑related matters, ensuring full compliance with employment laws and regulations. The role includes advising on policy implementation, mitigating legal risks, and supporting the resolution of employee disputes. This position works closely with the HR team and other departments to ensure that all organizational practices align with the current legal framework.
Key Accountabilities
Legal Compliance:
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Keep up to date with changes in labor laws and regulations.
Advise management on legal implications of HR issues.
Employee Relations:
Assist in the resolution of employee disputes and grievances.
Conduct investigations into complaints and violations.
Provide guidance on disciplinary actions and terminations.
Policy Development:
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Review and update employee handbooks and manuals to ensure legal compliance.
Contracts and Agreements:
Draft and review individual and collective employment agreements and contracts, severance agreements, and other HR-related documents.
Negotiate terms of employment contracts and other agreements as needed.
Education Master’s Degree in Law
Qualifications
Between 1 and 3 years of professional experience practising employment law
Strong and up-to-date knowledge of Italian labour laws
Proven ability to interpret and apply legislation to real-world HR challenges effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong negotiation and conflict resolution capabilities
Ability to work with autonomy while being an effective collaborator within the team
Fluency in Italian and a good command of English
