*This is a remote role; however, candidates must be located within reasonable proximity to a major airport to support regular business travel*

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Category Management

Build and implement global category strategies across key indirect segments (e.g., MRO, logistics, facilities, utilities, IT/telecom, professional services, HR services, travel, marketing, CapEx services).

Identify areas of synergy across sites and regions, and launch high-impact sourcing initiatives to achieve cost, compliance, and performance improvement targets.

Drive long-term value creation by integrating TCO principles, demand management, supplier innovation, and market insights.

Data Analytics & Spend Visibility

Collect, segment, and analyze spend data from multiple ERP systems and regional data sources to build a unified global view of indirect spend.

Develop and maintain comprehensive metrics packages covering spend, categories, suppliers, contracts, compliance, savings, inflation indices, and performance trends.

Establish dashboards and analytical tools to support fact‑based decision making.

Sourcing Execution & Negotiation

Lead global and regional RFQs, RFPs, eSourcing events, and commercial analyses.

Negotiate worldwide and regionally based agreements, ensuring best‑in‑class pricing, service levels, and contractual protections.

Award business using structured supplier evaluations, cost modeling, and stakeholder alignment.

Maintain and manage strategic supplier relationships, business reviews, and continuous improvement roadmaps.

Compliance & Governance

Enforce adherence to negotiated agreements across all global business units and sites.

Partner with Finance, Legal, and regional procurement teams to ensure purchasing policy compliance, contract usage, and savings realization.

Monitor and report on compliance performance and implement corrective actions as needed.

Tools, Systems & Process Improvement

Identify, evaluate, and implement spend analytics platforms, supplier compliance tools, contract lifecycle management systems, and other digital solutions to improve visibility and governance.

Support standardization of processes, policies, and sourcing frameworks across worldwide operations.

Sustainability & ESG Integration

Identify sustainability opportunities across indirect categories (energy efficiency, waste reduction, renewables, transportation emissions, circular sourcing).

Build business cases, justify investment, and lead implementation of projects that drive progress toward corporate ESG targets.

Ensure suppliers meet required environmental, ethical, and social compliance standards.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.

10–15+ years of progressive strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience.

Proven track record managing large, complex, multinational indirect spend portfolios.

High proficiency with data analytics, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft D365, etc.), and procurement platforms (Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, GEP, etc.).

Strong negotiation skills with demonstrated success securing global or enterprise‑wide agreements.

Experience developing and presenting executive‑level dashboards, business cases, and sourcing strategies.

Familiarity with sustainability frameworks and ESG‑related supply chain initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a global industrial or manufacturing company with multi‑site operations.

Expertise integrating disparate ERP systems or leading spend visibility programs.

Background applying Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.

Experience implementing procurement technology (eSourcing, analytics, CLM, supplier performance management).
