About The Role Center Carpentry is hiring an experienced
Lead Carpenter
to lead hands‑on production on residential remodels, additions, and custom builds.
We work for homeowners who value quality, communication, and long‑term relationships. If you take pride in your work and enjoy leading by example on the jobsite, you'll fit in well here.
What You’ll Do
Lead daily production on residential jobsites
Work hands‑on across framing, trim, cabinetry, windows/doors, siding, and finish work
Plan daily work, sequencing, and material needs
Coordinate and oversee specialty subcontractors
Train and mentor apprentices and carpenters
Maintain clean, organized, and protected jobsites
Communicate progress with the Project Manager
Use JobTread for daily logs and updates
What We’re Looking For
7+ years of residential carpentry experience (custom & finish work)
Proven ability to lead small crews
Strong skills in framing, finish carpentry, cabinetry, and exterior work
Reliable transportation to Ashland‑area jobsites
Professional hand tools and jobsite presence
Organized, accountable, and team‑oriented mindset
Pay & Benefits
Up to $40/hr, based on experience and craftsmanship
