Overview A bit about us: We’re a kind, considerate, loving family of 3 humans and 3 friendly pets (1 small dog, 1 medium dog, and 1 cat). We love reading, going to the zoo, bike-riding, and board games. We both work from home sometimes and value a love of learning, especially reading and science. We’re looking for someone to join our family long-term and be a nurturing and supportive part of our lives.

Our 4‑month‑old baby girl loves to be on the go. She is active and alert! She loves staring at the fan, bright lights, and being part of everything. The pets are really sweet with her!

About you You are an attentive, nurturing, and reliable nanny who loves witnessing infant milestones and enjoys the transition from infant to toddler. You are engaged and confident in creating a routine that involves walking, outdoor time, reading, tummy time, and age‑appropriate play to facilitate early learning. You’re a strong communicator, and you love making a difference in families’ lives.

Job duties All infant care duties, including but not limited to age‑appropriate play, milestone awareness, ensuring safety, communicating with parents, diaper changing, bottle tracking and feeding, warm‑up of milk, transition to purees and ensuring safe purees (cooker provided), child meal prep, sleep training (based on family preferences), soothing, burping, narrating to encourage verbal development, reading, walking, driving to parks, libraries, zoos, and other activities, and future potty training.

Household tasks are primarily child‑related tidying and maintaining a safe, organized play space, baby laundry, child dishes, and light pet care such as letting the dogs out when needed.

Qualifications You have 3–5 years of infant/toddler (4 months‑2 years) childcare experience, can speak and read English, hold or are willing to obtain infant/child CPR certification, have potty training experience, hold a valid driver’s license, have a clean driving record, own a reliable vehicle that can safely accommodate a car seat, and are comfortable driving a child in a personal vehicle. You are also comfortable working in a home with both cats and dogs.

Set yourself apart Having a degree in Child Development, willingness to travel domestically with our family on occasions, comfort with water, and/or willingness to learn baby sign language are additional advantages.

Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Pay $24–$30 an hour
