Join us as Training & Documentation specialist, and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in Dallas‑Airport (TX), US.
Reporting directly to the O&M Manager, the Training & Documentation specialist will be responsible for assisting with the training program and assisting the Training coordinator and Supervisors with various preventive Maintenance and corrective maintenance certification tasks to ensure optimum maintenance efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Help professionals on developing annual training plan, schedule and maintain training records and reporting for SDC
Act as a liaison to support the Regional Training Manager
Maintain the Skill Demonstration Process and work with supervisors to establish skills demo completion goals for the technician promotions
Participate in ALSTOM Services Train the Trainer program
Develop and distribute toolboxes as needed/requested for maintenance changes or new maintenance tasks due to rehabilitation.
Support new employee training program
Assist with the required yearly certifications (Manual certification, MCO certification and Wayside certification)
Maintain technical document library current (SOPs, HRA's, manuals etc)
Assist O&M Manager with administrative duties as requested
Assist Supervisors with administrative duties as needed to ensure the shifts are operating at optimum efficiency.
Maintain the Site Information Management System (SIMS) maintenance modules.
Audit daily maintenance documentation.
Maintain preventive and corrective maintenance work forms in accordance with the established Maintenance plan.
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent with 1+ years of related job experience or 3+ years of technical experience.
5 years Transit Experience Preferred
Experience with the development of instructional materials desired
Knowledge of office administration and bookkeeping procedures
Proficient in Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Skilled in use of SIMS
Excellent interpersonal skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective organizational skills
Able to adapt to unanticipated changes and work under pressure
Work with minimal supervision to reach agreed goals
Have a flexible and creative approach
Work well in an environment dedicated to results and continuous improvement
Experience in maintenance, rail, or transportation industry preferred
