Golf Course Head Superintendent

As Golf Course Superintendent you will lead our grounds team and help restore our historic 18-hole layout. We’re looking for someone passionate about turf excellence, team leadership, and making a lasting impact Key Duties Oversee daily maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, bunkers, and practice areas. Develop and implement turf programs: mowing, irrigation, fertilization, aeration, pest control. Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment and irrigation systems. Monitor turf health and adjust practices for optimal playability. Collaborate on budget planning and capital improvements. Recruit, train, and supervise seasonal grounds staff. Ensure safety and environmental compliance. Collaborate on modernizing the turf department. Maintain records of chemical applications and equipment servicing. Support course redesign, tournament preparation, and long-term planning.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Degree or certification in Turf Management, Agronomy, or Horticulture preferred. Valid spray license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire. Experience with turf care, equipment operation, and team leadership. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
