The Opportunity Elmcrest Country Club seeks an experienced Assistant Golf Professional who will help contribute to the overall Member Experience at Elmcrest Country Club. A member first attitude is required. This position will also play an integral role within the Golf Operation and will be hands on with the success of the Merchandise Program.

Annual Rounds: ~19,800

Cart Fleet: 55 Yamaha carts (new 2024)

Member Leagues & Tournaments:

Men’s League (146 members)

Ladies’ League (50 members)

5 major member tournaments annually

Corporate Golf Outings: 6 annually (including the Zach Johnson Foundation Classic)

Experience Required

Minimum 2 years experience - Private Club Golf

Class A PGA Member (Preferred)

Minimum Requirement - Level 2 PGA Associate

Golf Genius

Club Essential or other POS/Tee Sheet Software

Essential Responsibilities Day to Day Responsibilities

World class customer service

Reconciling the tee sheet to ensure proper member billing

Upholding the standards and traditions of Elmcrest Country Club

Maintaining a clean and organized work space

Work collaboratively within the Golf Operations Department as well as other departments in the overall facility operation is a must.

Merchandising

Adhering to the buying plan set by the Head Golf Professional

Maintaining a fresh mix of merchandise for the membership

Understanding what the membership's needs are will make the merchandise program successful

Placing stock orders and special orders

Understanding the timing of when stock orders need to be placed and arrive at the club to remain fiscally responsible

Maintaining a neat and organized merchandising area
