Our course features high-performance Bentgrass/Poa greens interseeded with Dominator Bentgrass and lush, well-conditioned, recently converted Latitude 36 fairways. We pride ourselves on a culture of excellence, providing our members with championship-level conditions year-round.

Position Overview The Assistant Superintendent is a critical leadership role, serving as the right hand to the Director of Golf Course Maintenance. You won’t just be executing tasks; you’ll be involved in long-term agronomic planning, budgetary oversight, Toro Lynx irrigation management, and high-level crew involvement and oversight.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Operations

Daily Strategy:

Prepare and execute work schedules 24 hours in advance to ensure seamless morning launches.

Team Development:

Directly supervise and mentor maintenance staff, fostering a culture of efficiency, quality, safety, and professional pride.

Acting Superintendent:

Assume full operational command of the department in the Superintendent’s absence.

Agronomic Excellence

Precision Monitoring:

Conduct daily inspections of all playing surfaces to proactively identify turf stress or pest pressure.

Decision Making:

Recommend and implement recovery practices and fertility programs using professional-grade turf management judgment.
