Director of Business, Operations and Personnel Search The Solon City School Board of Education is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Superintendent for Business, Operations and Personnel. The Board seeks an outstanding administrator who will continue the focus on excellence, communications, trust, and transparency and be a strategic partner with the Board and Superintendent.

The Solon City School District is in Cuyahoga County with approximately 4600 students in grades pre-K through 12. The district is top rated in the State of Ohio in all areas of academics, finance and operation.

District's Mission is to empower every student, every day, to achieve personal excellence, acting as a diverse learning community that ensures all students gain the knowledge and skills to thrive, while becoming empathetic, ethical, and contributing citizens in an evolving global society.

General Responsibilities To direct and oversee the school district's business operations, facilities, and human resources functions in an efficient and effective manner in support of the educational mission, and to ensure the recruitment, credentialing, and retention of a high-caliber workforce for the benefit of students and the district.

Qualifications

Master's Degree (or higher) in Educational Administration or Bachelor's in business

management or a related field.

Valid State of Ohio School Business Manager's License or equivalent administrative licensure acceptable to the Board and Superintendent.

Demonstrated experience in business management, human resources, and the supervision of support service operations.

Demonstrated ability in long-range planning, capital project management, and fiscal oversight.

Such alternative qualifications as the Board and Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.

ESC/ Finding Leaders offers comprehensive support in planning, recruiting, and transitioning leadership, assisting in the creation of a leadership transition plan and guiding the board through candidate selection.
