
Trademark/Brand Protection Specialist

The Role
Everpure (formerly Pure Storage) is looking for a proactive Trademark Brand Protection Specialist to take ownership of trademark portfolio management and act as a partner with our Marketing and Sales teams across a range of brand protection efforts.
As a key member of the Everpure Legal Department, you will work cross‑functionally with legal, marketing, and sales to protect the company’s brand assets and support daily business operations.
What You Will Do
Trademark Docket Management:
Provide prosecution support and maintain an internal trademark docket, including data entry, deadline tracking, historic mark clearances, prior company uses, and rich product information.
Collect use‑based evidence to support trademark applications and renewals.
Manage outside counsel, overseeing spend and evaluating performance metrics.
Enforcement & Monitoring:
Run weekly enforcement tasks, review trademark watch notices, and pursue letters of protest, oppositions, or cancellations.
Monitor marketplace activity to protect Everpure IP rights.
Track industry trends and serve as an internal resource on marketplace shifts.
Review marketing collateral for brand protection compliance.
Draft promotion rules and provide legal support for company contests and giveaways.
Build strong relationships with Marketing and Sales, serving as a reliable touchpoint for matter escalation.
What You Will Bring
6 to 9 years of experience as a trademark and brand protection paralegal.
Experience preparing US PTO Trademark filings, including initial filings, office action responses, letters of protest, and TTAB oppositions.
Experience managing trademark docketing for large companies, preferably in B2B/B2E or services marketplaces.
Familiarity with the Madrid Protocol, national filing strategies, trademark search strategies, and elementary risk assessment.
Knowledge of marketing collateral review under FTC Endorsement Guides and technology industry standards.
Proficiency with tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Compumark Watch, Saegis, IPFolio, Asana, and Figma.
Ability to thrive in high‑pace, high‑ownership environments with limited legal guidance.
Interest in developing a strong knowledge base of Everpure products and services.
Salary The annual base salary range is $176,000 – $265,000 USD. The role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
