Assistant Golf Course Superintendent

Overview As an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent, you will play a key role in supporting the overall management and maintenance of the golf course grounds. Working closely with the Golf Course Superintendent, you will help oversee the daily operations, including turf care, irrigation, and equipment maintenance. Your responsibilities will include supervising staff, implementing agronomic practices, and ensuring that the course meets the highest standards of playability and aesthetic appeal. Additionally, you will assist in developing budgets, scheduling maintenance tasks, and implementing sustainability practices to enhance the environmental stewardship of the course. Qualifications

Degree in Turf Management or related field preferred

Minimum of 2 years of experience in golf course maintenance

Strong knowledge of turf maintenance practices and irrigation systems

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pesticide applicator's license or the ability to obtain one
