2M+ subscribers .
If you enjoy shaping stories through editing and helping educational content come to life, we’d love to hear from you. Visit our Careers page to learn about our work culture, benefits, and the typical work day.
What You’ll Do As part of the video team, you’ll edit educational videos that explore filmmaking techniques, storytelling principles, and production workflows.
Your work will involve shaping footage into clear and engaging narratives—refining pacing, selecting the strongest moments, and collaborating with writers and producers to ensure each video communicates its ideas effectively. Many of our videos analyze scenes from films, break down storytelling techniques, or demonstrate filmmaking concepts.
You’ll also collaborate with motion graphics designers and producers to integrate animations, titles, and visual elements that help clarify ideas and maintain a consistent visual style across the channel.
A Typical Day A typical day might begin by reviewing a new script with the team—thinking through pacing, structure, and how the piece will come together in the edit. You share feedback early, helping shape the script into something that will cut cleanly and keep viewers engaged.
From there, you move into the edit—starting with a radio cut, tightening dialogue, and building a rough structure in Premiere. As the piece takes shape, you review cuts with the director, refine pacing, and iterate toward a final version. Once approved, you export the master and prepare supporting edits, such as short social clips or trailers.
Some days are focused on shaping a story from raw footage, others on refining and polishing a nearly finished piece. The goal is the same: create clear, engaging edits that bring ideas to life.
What We’re Looking For You might be a great fit if you:
Have
3–5+ years of video editing experience
Are highly proficient with
Adobe Premiere
Have strong storytelling instincts and editorial judgment
Understand pacing, timing, and visual storytelling
Enjoy collaborating with writers, producers, and designers
Take ownership of your work and care about craft and detail
