Pay or shift range: $60,000 USD to $85,000 USD This base salary range is specific to individuals applying to this role and takes into account a number of factors. The base salary offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. The base salary is one element of our competitive compensation package. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

Position Description We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive Business Development Associate to join our North America Business Development team in Boston. This role is integral to the execution and advancement of the firm’s business development efforts, with responsibility for producing high-quality client materials, managing key processes, and contributing to the development of compelling messaging and positioning.

The Associate will work closely with Business Development and Investment team members to support new business opportunities, maintain and enhance BD infrastructure, and ensure the delivery of consistent, accurate, and client-ready materials. The role offers meaningful exposure to investment strategy, client engagement, and cross-functional collaboration across the firm.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and update all business development content

Create and edit effective and visually appealing content

Maintain bank of ‘best practice’ slides and request for proposal (RFP) responses, updating as needed and identifying areas for improvement

Develop compelling PowerPoint materials to support meetings and finalist pitches with prospective clients, leveraging content library and preparing custom exhibits and slides as needed

Provide pitch support including but not limited to supplementing standard pitch materials with custom inputs (i.e., pitch team bios, Investment Committee research)

Research prospect background to better understand prospect needs and challenges, competition, appropriate service approach

Prepare first draft of responses to RFPs and presentations in conjunction with Business Development team members

Manage internal deadlines for those involved in the process

Liaise with internal teams (i.e., Legal, Compliance, Operations) to effectively and efficiently complete RFPs

Work collaboratively with the Business Development team to manage the end-to-end business development process. Coordinate workflow and outreach to active prospects in partnership with investment team

Maintain pipeline / CRM of prospective opportunities and produce customized reports when required

Develop and maintain metric tracking lSupport follow-up efforts to ensure prospect and client movement through the business development

Build and maintain investment knowledge and show intellectual curiosity

Key responsibilities may be assessed and are subject to change from time to time based on the needs of the business. The individual may be required to work overtime as needed.

Additional responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring all information security processes, policies and procedures are adhered to and any issues or concerns are raised with the Cyber Security team

Ensure full compliance with all local data protection regulations and privacy controls, and any related issues are raised via the appropriate channels

Qualifications / Attributes

1-3 years of relevant business development/marketing experience

Experience writing proposals and creating presentations, ideally from an investment management environment

Excellent project management organization and prioritization skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

High proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel)

Ability to think critically and analytically as well as problem solve

High degree of professionalism and sound judgement with understanding of when and how to elevate potential issues , as well as attention to detail

Strong communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to convey critical points to internal and external stakeholders

Strong interpersonal skills with ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented working environment

Intellectually curious and a team player motivated to contribute to the success of the business

Exposure to and interest in the financial sector, specifically investments

Undergraduate degree in a related field
