Construction Superintendent

The Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. This role serves as the primary on-site leader and liaison between subcontractors, project managers, inspectors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily on-site operations for commercial and/or residential construction projects Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel Ensure projects are completed according to plans, specifications, and timelines Maintain strict adherence to safety policies and OSHA regulations Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and workmanship standards Manage project schedules and proactively address delays or issues Order materials and coordinate deliveries to maintain workflow Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project documents Communicate project updates to Project Managers and key stakeholders Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and documentation Facilitate inspections and ensure compliance with local building codes Qualifications
3+ years of experience in construction supervision or related field Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in construction management software is preferred OSHA certification preferred Skills & Competencies
