We’re seeking a hospitality‑driven Leasing Manager to lead the leasing strategy and team at 400 Lake Shore, a landmark 635‑unit luxury rental tower launching pre‑leasing in 2026. In this high‑impact, highly visible role, you will oversee the full leasing operation while serving as a key brand ambassador for one of Chicago’s most anticipated residential developments.
You will be responsible for setting the tone of the leasing experience—elevating it beyond transactional interactions into a refined, hospitality‑forward journey. By guiding and coaching your team, you’ll ensure the building’s architectural excellence, elevated design, and thoughtfully curated amenities are consistently translated into a compelling lifestyle narrative for prospective residents.
Through strong leadership, performance management, and a focus on exceptional service, you will drive leasing velocity, shape first impressions at scale, and foster meaningful connections that lay the foundation for a vibrant, engaged community from day one.
What You’ll Do Leasing & Marketing Leadership
Execute the full leasing and marketing strategy for a 635‑unit ground‑up luxury tower pre‑leasing in 2026
Lead leasing strategy to drive occupancy, revenue growth, and absorption goals
Oversee and coach leasing team to deliver a best‑in‑class, personalized prospect experience
Analyze traffic, conversion, and leasing funnel performance; adjust tactics in real time
Partner with marketing and senior leadership on pre‑leasing, lease‑up, and ongoing campaign strategy
Ensure consistent, high‑impact property tours that effectively communicate lifestyle, value, and brand positioning
Maintain expert‑level knowledge of pricing strategy, availability, and competitive market trends
Oversee CRM utilization, ensuring accurate lead tracking, follow‑up execution, and reporting discipline
Approve and oversee lease applications, renewals, and documentation for accuracy and compliance
Welcome prospects and guide them through personalized property tours that highlight lifestyle features, community amenities, and neighborhood insights
Resident Retention & Community Engagement
Lead resident retention performance and develop initiatives to improve satisfaction and renewal rates
Lead community engagement strategy to align with brand standards and enhance resident experience
Oversee move‑in and move‑out processes to ensure seamless, high‑quality execution
Establish and deliver service standards and ensure consistent delivery of elevated resident interactions
Analyze resident feedback, identify trends, and implement improvements to enhance experience
Build strategic relationships with residents and foster a strong sense of community
Team Leadership & Development
Train, mentor, and manage leasing team to achieve performance goals
Set clear expectations, monitor performance, and provide ongoing coaching and accountability
Foster a high‑performance, collaborative team culture focused on results and service excellence
Property Presentation & Operations
Set and enforce standards for leasing office, model units, and amenity presentation
Conduct regular inspections to ensure the property consistently meets brand and quality expectations
Partner with maintenance and operations teams to proactively address property needs
Ensure a seamless and polished prospect and resident arrival experience
Administrative Oversight & Compliance
Oversee all leasing documentation, ensuring accuracy, organization, and audit readiness
Ensure full compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies
Monitor occupancy reporting, leasing metrics, and financial performance indicators
Review and approve leasing files, reports, and compliance documentation
Operational Excellence
Monitor KPIs including occupancy, leasing velocity, conversion rates, and resident satisfaction
Identify ways to improve leasing performance and resident satisfaction
Help manage online reviews and resident concerns with a solutions‑first mindset
Special Projects & Teamwork
Participate in marketing campaigns, leasing events, and team meetings
Stay current with industry trends and company updates
Be a team player who’s ready to support wherever needed
Compensation The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
Base salary:
$65,000
Commission + Base potential earnings:
up to $110,000
Actual base salary within the anticipated range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and market factors.

Qualifications What You Bring:
3–5+ years leasing experience (Chicago market experience strongly preferred)
Proven success managing or leasing‑up high‑profile assets
Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and in‑person
Polished, professional presence with a passion for customer experience
Advanced proficiency CRM tools and Microsoft Office
Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
Flexible schedule including weekends/evenings as needed
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Illinois Real Estate Leasing Agent License required within first 120 days
