
Global Total Rewards Manager

The Global Total Rewards Manager will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of compensation, benefits, and rewards programs to attract and retain top talent. This role partners closely with HR leadership, finance, and external vendors to ensure competitive, compliant, and scalable total rewards strategies across a global workforce. The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of strategic thinking, analytical expertise, and hands-on execution within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Benefits Management
Oversee administration of U.S. benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans
Lead end-to-end annual open enrollment, ensuring effective communication and smooth execution
Manage relationships with vendors and brokers to optimize benefits offerings and control costs
Support 401(k) plan administration, including compliance testing, audits, and reconciliations
Provide benefits orientation to new hires and ongoing support to employees
Design and maintain competitive compensation structures, policies, and programs
Conduct market benchmarking, job leveling, and salary analysis
Provide data-driven recommendations for hiring, promotions, and internal equity adjustments
Support annual merit review and salary planning processes
Manage variable compensation programs including bonuses, commissions, and equity
Global Total Rewards & Communication
Ensure consistency and equity in total rewards programs across global regions
Develop and deliver communication strategies to drive employee engagement and understanding
Act as a global point of contact for compensation and benefits-related inquiries
Integration with People Programs
Align total rewards with performance management, career development, and organizational design initiatives
Partner on HRIS (Workday) updates and compensation-related system enhancements
Support job architecture and leveling frameworks
Compliance & Market Insights
Monitor compensation trends, regulatory changes, and industry benchmarks
Ensure programs remain compliant with applicable laws and regulations
Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor to leadership on total rewards strategy
Additional Responsibilities
Support annual compensation budgeting and forecasting
Maintain data integrity within HRIS systems (Workday)
Lead and contribute to compensation-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Strong experience in total rewards, compensation, and benefits administration
Proven analytical skills with experience in HRIS systems and compensation tools
Strong stakeholder management and project execution capabilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment
Preferred
Master’s degree or certifications (CCP, CEBS)
Experience managing global compensation and benefits programs
Hands-on experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms
Ideal Candidate Profile
7+ years of progressive experience in total rewards, with a balanced focus on compensation and benefits
Strong exposure to global workforce environments and multi-region program management
Data-driven professional with advanced Excel and compensation analysis capabilities
Proven ability to influence leadership and drive strategic initiatives
Hands-on operator who can move between strategy and execution seamlessly
Experience in high-growth or fast-paced organizations preferred
