Total Rewards Specialist

As a Total Rewards Specialist, you will implement and oversee compensation, benefits, and rewards programs for Mexico & CAMCAR, ensuring business alignment and regulatory compliance. You will ensure clear communication and consistent application of Total Rewards policies, guidelines, and processes. You will lead assigned Total Rewards process improvement initiatives aligned with Global HR priorities and company strategy. As project owner, you will define objectives, leverage your expertise, and inspire collaboration and shared purpose across project teams.

What You Will Do

Support the implementation and administration of compensation, benefits, and rewards programs in collaboration with business leaders, HRBPs, and Global Total Rewards.

Develop and deliver clear Total Rewards communications to ensure strong understanding of policies, processes, and practices.

Manage the merit compensation process for Mexico & CAMCAR, ensuring budget adherence and policy compliance.

Review, analyze, and ensure approval of compensation and rewards exceptions aligned with company guidelines.

Ensure accurate processing of performance results and bonus payouts, including leadership approvals and HR system updates.

Participate in salary and benefits surveys, analyze market data, and provide recommendations to maintain competitiveness.

Partner with Finance and Accounting to ensure accurate incentive accruals and financial planning.

Support Total Rewards process improvement initiatives, coordinating with COEs and external vendors to ensure timely and effective delivery.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience in Total Rewards).

Minimum 5 years of experience in compensation and/or Total Rewards administration.

Proven experience leading cross‑border projects, with a minimum of 5 years managing initiatives at a regional, or global level.

What Will Set You Apart

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline.

Strong knowledge of compensation programs and labor regulations across Latin America.

Advanced English and Spanish proficiency.

Proven project management expertise, with PMP certification preferred.

Experience leading and collaborating with virtual, cross‑functional teams.

Hands‑on experience with HR systems and contributing to policy development and implementation.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and advanced Excel skills.

Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem‑solving abilities, with keen attention to detail and confidentiality.
