Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $26.00 to $28.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities
Provide daily administrative support for HR operations while maintaining accurate records and confidential information.
Assist with payroll related tasks by entering updates, reviewing reports, and coordinating information with the accounting team.
Manage job postings, applicant tracking tools, and interview scheduling in partnership with hiring teams.
Support onboarding activities by preparing files, routing forms, updating HR records, and confirming completion of required steps.
Assist with HR audits, policy updates, and employee inquiries while helping maintain organized files and internal documentation.
Requirements
Ability to manage recurring HR tasks with accuracy and steady attention to detail.
Skill in maintaining organized records, tracking deadlines, and preparing documents and reports.
Strong communication skills when assisting employees, applicants, and internal partners.
Capacity to work both independently and with a team while adapting to changing priorities.
Professional judgment when handling sensitive information and responding to employee questions.
Qualifications
A bachelor degree in human resources, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
1-3+ years of administrative or HR support experience.
Familiarity with general labor laws, employee relations support, and benefit administration.
Previous experience working with HR systems and common office applications such as Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Ability to receive feedback, solve problems, and contribute to a positive team environment.
