E-commerce Content Manager

Position Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative Ecommerce Content Specialist to develop and optimize product content across multiple online sales channels. This role is responsible for ensuring all product listings are accurate, meet brand standards, visually compelling, and optimized to drive conversions and enhance the customer experience.

In addition to managing written content, this role will play a part in developing rich media assets, including product image stacks and short-form videos for ecommerce and marketplace platforms, as well as managing customer feedback and reviews.

Key Responsibilities Product Listing Management

Create, edit, and maintain product listings (titles, descriptions, specifications, images, videos, and variants)

Ensure all product information is accurate, up-to-date, and consistent across platforms

Catalog Management

Organize and maintain product categories and collections

Manage large product catalogs efficiently using internal systems

Multi-Channel Content Publishing

Publish and manage product content across ecommerce platforms and marketplaces

Ensure compliance with each platform’s content requirements and guidelines

Content Optimization

Write and optimize product descriptions to improve search visibility and conversion rates

Conduct keyword research and apply SEO and marketplace optimization best practices

Visual Content Creation (Graphic Design & Video)

Design and produce product image stacks (e.g., lifestyle images, infographics, feature callouts, comparison charts)

Create and edit short-form product videos for listings, ads, and social commerce

Ensure visual assets align with brand guidelines and platform requirements

Collaborate with marketing and other designers to create assets using existing product imagery

Customer Reviews & Feedback Management

Monitor, moderate, and respond to customer reviews and questions using Bazaarvoice

Analyze customer feedback to identify trends, product issues, and opportunities for content improvement

Partner with internal teams (customer service, operations, and marketing) to address feedback and improve customer satisfaction

Ensure review content aligns with brand voice and compliance guidelines

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Track product performance metrics (traffic, conversion rates, engagement)

Use insights to improve listings, visuals, and overall content strategy

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with marketing, design, and sales to align product content with campaigns, branding, and updates

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.

3–5 years of experience in ecommerce content management, digital design and merchandising, or online product marketing.

Strong understanding of SEO and ecommerce content optimization.

Experience managing product content including descriptions, image stacks, digital assets and A+ rich content development.

Familiarity with Bazaarvoice or similar customer feedback management platforms preferred.

Graphic design and digital media creation skills including proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.

Experience with e-commerce item management platforms, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to improve content performance and drive sales.
