The Digital Video Content Associate supports the production of Vibe Check, ESPN’s female‑led studio show, streaming on Disney+. This role plays a key part in creating dynamic, culturally relevant sports content that lives across digital and streaming platforms. The ideal candidate is highly creative, collaborative, and fluent in both sports storytelling and the evolving digital media landscape. Must have ability to work nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

Edit high‑quality longform and shortform video content for Vibe Check across Disney+ and ESPN digital platforms

Collaborate with producers and on‑air talent to develop, write, and refine scripts and segment ideas

Design visually compelling graphics optimized for a modern, social‑first audience

Conduct research using media asset systems to source footage and support production needs

Pitch and develop creative content ideas that align with Vibe Check’s voice, tone, and audience

Shoot video content in both studio and field environments, including events and remote productions

Deliver multimedia elements on tight timelines with accuracy and attention to detail

Write engaging titles, descriptions, and thumbnails to maximize content performance across platforms

Use performance data and audience insights to inform and evolve content strategy

Provide thoughtful, constructive feedback and contribute to a collaborative team environment

Communicate effectively across production, editorial, and cross‑functional teams

Basic Qualifications

Strong knowledge of sports culture, with an emphasis on current storylines and emerging voices in women’s sports

Proficiency in video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro) and graphic design (Photoshop)

Strong storytelling instincts with the ability to take ideas from concept through execution

Deep understanding of digital and social platforms, including YouTube and short‑form ecosystems

Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills in a fast‑paced production environment

Ability to adapt quickly and positively to changing production needs and timelines

Familiarity with ESPN programming, brand standards, and audience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Adobe After Effects or motion graphics

Hands‑on video production experience, including camera operation, lighting, and audio Required Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education

Bachelor’s degree in broadcasting, communications, journalism, or a related field
