Brunel is currently searching for a
Junior Account Manager
to join our staff on our Mining Team. This position will be located on-site in our
South Jordan, Utah
office.
Primary Purpose The Junior Account Manager, Mining supports the development and management of client relationships within the mining sector while assisting with account growth and operational coordination. This role partners closely with senior account leadership, recruitment teams, and internal stakeholders to support client workforce needs, ensure a high-quality service experience, and contribute to revenue growth across Brunel’s mining portfolio.
The Junior Account Manager plays a key role in supporting client delivery, maintaining strong communication between clients and internal teams, and gaining hands‑on experience in account management, workforce solutions, and commercial operations within the mining industry.
Essential Functions
Support the management and development of client relationships within assigned mining accounts.
Partner with Account Managers and the Director of Mining to maintain strong client engagement and service delivery.
Collaborate closely with recruitment teams to ensure a clear understanding of client requirements and workforce needs.
Assist in coordinating candidate submissions and ensuring a smooth recruitment and onboarding process for contractors.
Help maintain regular communication with clients regarding project needs, hiring timelines, and workforce planning.
Maintain regular communication with existing and new contractors to ensure successful completion of projects.
Responsible for data integrity in client compliance systems; including, but not limited to monitoring policies and standards, entering new contractors, verifying training, and updating certifications.
Support account mapping efforts by identifying key client contacts and tracking organizational structures within client companies.
Monitor contractor placements within assigned accounts and assist in maintaining positive contractor and client experiences.
Track job flow, opportunities, and client activity through the CRM system to support forecasting and reporting.
Assist with resolving client or contractor inquiries by coordinating with internal teams such as recruitment, payroll, legal, and operations.
Identify potential growth opportunities within existing accounts and share insights with account leadership.
Conduct market research to identify potential clients and opportunities within the mining sector.
Support business development initiatives, including client meetings, presentations, and industry networking events.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and activity within Brunel’s systems.
Assist with sales pipeline management and contribute to account performance tracking and reporting.
Qualifications & Work Experience
0–3 years of experience in account management, business development, staffing, recruitment, or a related commercial role.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build professional relationships.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings or industry events.
Preferred
Exposure to mining, heavy industry, engineering, or technical recruitment environments.
Experience working with CRM or applicant tracking systems.
Understanding of staffing, workforce solutions, or contractor‑based hiring models.
