Our client, a leader in the meat industry, is currently seeking a sales professional who is well experienced in retail to join their dynamic team. In this role, you\'ll be instrumental in driving growth and success in the Western USA market. Collaborating closely with regional leadership and marketing counterparts, you\'ll develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed objectives. With your expertise in customer relationship management, logistics coordination, and business development, you\'ll ensure exceptional service to our valued retail clients.
Responsibilities Collaborate with the Sales Manager and North American marketing team to create and implement annual and long-term strategies, focusing on serving existing and attracting new retail customers.
Develop annual sales plans and customer-specific business plans and budgets aligned with organizational goals; support the creation and delivery of regional promotional materials.
Review and confirm monthly inventory orders to match sales plans and customer demand, coordinating with procurement on product needs for upcoming activities.
Strengthen customer relationships to secure contracts, develop relationships with potential customers and distribution channels, and stay updated on market trends and competitors.
Ensure timely deliveries through effective distribution channel coordination; monitor inventory levels and manage product rotation in storage centers.
Maintain regular communication with key suppliers to stay informed about market trends.
Achieve financial, customer, and business goals in the Western USA market; monitor accounts receivables and report on market activities, pursuing professional development as needed.
Identify and pursue business growth opportunities, collaborate with the team to explore new retail product opportunities, and maintain a network of influencers to support growth efforts.
Qualifications 8 years of experience in regional retail sales dealing with meat products.
Experience with major retailers and mid-sized retailers is a must-have qualification
Ability to travel for business 20%-25% of the time
